Como trabajar con divs sin clear:both
Hasta hace poco usaba en css el código:
.loquesea{
clear:both;
}
Cuando tenía problemas con los divs que había posicionado con "float" a izquierda o derecha. El motivo de tener que hacer esto era porque si "flotamos" un hijo el padre no se entera, y no se espande lo suficiente para abarcar todo el hijo, con el consiguiente baile de de divs y de contenido de los divs.
Gracias a la web El Plan de Seldon he descubierto una manera mucho mejor de trabajar con estos odiosos divs flotantes, por cierto muy buenos las imágenes de ejemplo del blog.
En vez de usar clear:both lo que El plan de Seldon lo que suigere es utilizar es la propiedad overflow:
.loquesea{
overflow:hidden;
}
Para evitar tener que usar clear:both y un div sobrante para evitar la mezcla de divs, con esta propiedad
